World Breastfeeding Week St. Louis 2013

Most of the planet celebrates World Breastfeeding Week (WBW) during the first week of August, but in St. Louis and other cities that are usually unbearably hot at that time of year, we celebrate during the 40th week of the year. That means that while most of the country has just wrapped up WBW and National Breastfeeding Month, we are just getting started - again!

Many of the St. Louis Breastfeeding Coalition's members have been busy planning some wonderful events for September 28 - October 5, 2013, in conjunction with La Leche League of Greater St. Louis. The preeminent kickoff event is a day-long conference on Saturday, September 28, at the St. Louis Zoo called Breastfeeding & Parenting: Making It Work. You'll be able to choose from a variety of informative seminars and enjoy networking with other like-minded parents and experts.

On each of the other days, you'll be able to choose from other, smaller events throughout the metro area to socialize with other breastfeeding families. We hope to see you!

Click HERE to register for the conference and signup for other WBW events. But hurry! Conference registration ends September 18.
